Field Technician 1

 Information Technology Solutions has a Immediate position available for Lead Technician in the CHARLESTON SC Area. We will need between 5 and 6 technicians in each area that we post this ad for. You should have a basic to mid level understanding of how to work on Dell Laptops/Desktops. Know how to use Microsoft Office Suites including word, excel, PowerPoint, etc. and be proficient in their use and support for same. You must also understand how to work on networks including wiring. This means simply that if you go to a customer work site and there is an issue with a client who can not get on the network you should know how to do everything up to and including replacing the cable for a network jack. You should understand how to trouble shoot a phone line. 

Qualifications for this position:
-5 years of IT experience is desired
-2 plus years of network wiring is desired
-MCSE preferred but not required
-BICSI level 1 or 2 technician is preferred but not required
-MUST HAVE A CLEAN CRIMINAL BACKGROUND THIS IS A GOVERNMENT CONTRACT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON IN MANY CASES AND IS NON NEGOTIABLE
A 5 year criminal back ground check is required.
-Must have tools
-Must have reliable transportation
-Must have a valid drivers license
